Tips for Beer Pong Shots

1. Never throw in a straight line. Get some good arc on it.

2. Follow through on your shots. Don't be too jerky about it, throw slowly and smoothly, focusing on exactly where you want it to go.

3. Think about what kind of rack you will have when you aim for a cup. Don't necessarily just shoot for whatever is closest to you.

4. If you can, try to get some front-spin on the ball. Some people throw it with their palm towards them, as though you were throwing a playing card or something. This makes it more likely that the ball will go in even if it hits the rim of the cup.

5. Pay attention to what your opponent is doing. Always be ready for a bounce, but don't knock your own cups over while you're trying to swat a ball out of the air.

6. Try getting the ball just a little wet before you throw it so you can get a nice grip, but keep it dry enough so that it doesn't stick to your hand.
